In partnership with our community, Walkersville Middle School cultivates an atmosphere of respect, acceptance, and understanding to support students as they become active participants in a global society. We grow together as culturally-conscious citizens.
WMS provides a safe, nurturing environment in which individual and civic responsibility is fostered, diversity is respected and all learners are empowered to realize their full potential. Members of the WMS community embrace a growth mindset as they tackle the challenges that are inherent in all parts of the learning process. Within a safe and supportive environment, students learn to take risks, overcome obstacles, and demonstrate ownership of their learning. Each learner is equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow’s emerging world.
