Technology Support

For general technical support, FCPS has provided family resources, including Schoology support at:

As our students and teachers continue with distance learning, we are here to support the technology needs of students and staff.  UHS User Support Specialist, Michelle Brammer, will be the point of contact for all technology needs including:

  • Those in need or a chromebook or hotspot
  • Those in need of replacement equipment such as a charger or chromebook
  • Account information, log-in, and/or password resets
  • Other issues with computer use or virtual learning tools

Ms. Brammer is available via email ( Monday-Friday, 8a - 3p, to provide technical support.

In addition, Ms. Brammer will maintain office hours by appointment only at UHS as listed below for pick-up and drop-off of equipment.  All appointments will be confirmed by email.  No walk-up assistance will be permitted.  

  • Mondays (10a - 12noon)
  • Thursdays (12noon - 2p)

Beginning March 30, UHS teachers will provide online activities primarily through Schoology and Google Classroom.  Students will receive assignments and submit work electronically. Due to the diversity of our classes and flexibility in the online learning platform, the method in which students receive and submit work may vary among classes. We anticipate students will have no more than 45 minutes of work per day per course, with exceptions for AP, IB, and dual enrollment courses.

Parents of students who currently receive services based on an individualized education plan (IEP) or 504 plan should expect to hear from their child’s case manager regarding available services.  Any parent who has concerns about these services should contact their child’s case manager or assistant principal.

Term 3 will end on April 8.  April 9 is a teacher work day; there should be no new work presented on April 9.
