My name is Mrs. Norwood.  I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher this year. I have been teaching here at TPS since it opened and I have been teaching in Frederick County for more than 25 years. During my time teaching, I have taught second grade, first grade, kindergarten and prekindergarten.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Frostburg State University. I earned my Master’s Equivalency from various colleges and universities such as Mt. Saint Mary’s College, Western MD College, Chapman University, and the Maryland State Dept. of Education.  My family and I live near Thurmont. I have a husband and a son.  We enjoy spending our free time in our boat on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
