All FCPS technology property is tracked using the TipWeb-IT inventory management system effective July 1, 2019.
All Chromebooks, desktops, laptops, and tablets should be managed in the inventory management system. Equipment can be found by searching with the FCPS property tag, DTI tag, or serial number. If a device cannot be found, escalate a work order to the help desk with as much information as possible provided in the upload template.
New and replacement barcodes should be requested from Technology Infrastructure.
All TipWeb-IT related requests should be escalated to Technology Infrastructre via SolarWinds WebHelpDesk in the form of a ticket. Use the request type Applications and Services > TipWebIT
DTI can print barcodes for rooms to facilitate the inventory and audit processes. Schools that would like to request the barcodes should escalate a work order with an attached excel file containing a list of room numbers. Please follow the barcode labeling convention.
