I was born in Charleston, S.C. but moved to Frederick County after my dad got out of the Navy and I have lived in Frederick ever since.  I am married with two wonderful daughters.  My family and I are HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Pirates fans... basically ANYTHING Pittsburgh! 

When I am not teaching,  you can find me with a good book.  I love to read and love going to the bookstore and library.  I also enjoy spending time with my family camping or at the beach.
