Website and Information

FCPS has lots of resources to share about the Linganore-Oakdale-Urbana (LOU) redistricting study.

See today's Tweet of the Week show with FCPS Facilities Planning Supervisor Beth Pasierb, featuring results of the redistricting survey that closed February 15:

Later this week, FCPS will send you links to a new podcast, featuring Urbana High School Principal Dave Kehne, and to a round table discussion with Principal Kehne, Linganore High School Principal Nancy Doll, and Oakdale High School Principal Donna Clabaugh.

And save the dates for the next round of meetings about the redistricting, 7 PM-8:30 PM:
Monday, March 18 at Linganore High
Tuesday, March 19 at Urbana High
Thursday, March 21 at Oakdale High

We continue to post replies to the Frequently Asked Questions section at https://www.fcps.org/facilities/lou-area-redistricting-study-faq.

In addition, we've posted the presentation that streamed live on Facebook February 19 at 1 PM (https://www.facebook.com/LOURedistrict/) at https://www.fcps.org/facilities/lou-meetings. In that presentation, FCPS Chief Operating Officer Paul Lebo also answers frequently asked questions and shares initial results of the survey. On February 19, from 7 PM-8 PM, FCPS staff answered questions live that readers posted to the LOURedistrict Facebook page. You can read the resulting dialog at https://www.facebook.com/LOURedistrict/
