Next week in language arts we will be learning the word wall word “are.” Students are expected to know how to spell and read all word wall words. We will be focusing on the word family “ot”, such as cot, hot and lot. Word families are to help students learn how to blend sounds together and to further their reading. We will be concluding our discussion on rhyming. By next week students should be able to identify and generate rhyming words. In math we are continuing to focus on the teen numbers.
