Nutrition in Pre-K

We have been exploring with different healthy foods that go along with the letter we are learning.  This week, we learned the letter Yy and followed a recipe to make yogurt parfaits!  Yum!  I loved that the kids asked that we send the recipe home, so as promised, here it is:

3 scoops of plain or vanilla yogurt
2 scoops of berries or pineapple
2 scoops of a crunchy cereal (we used Honey Bunches of Oats)

Serve in a see-through cup and enjoy!

I am enjoying getting to know the area and I love teaching 3rd grade! Please explore the webpage, but see my blog link for weekly classroom updates.
