Mrs. Sheroda's Home Page
In 1979, I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education. I completed my student teaching in the Panama Canal Zone, Central America. I then taught 2nd grade in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Upon my return I got married and began my family. I have a husband, Michael, 3 children, and 2 grandchildren. In 2003, I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, from Hood College.
In 2000, I began teaching in the Dyslexia Program as an intervention teacher at Valley Elementary School. In 2001, I began teaching Learning for Life (special education) at Valley Elementary in the afternoons. In 2003, I added pre-kindergarten (special education) at Middletown Elementary in the mornings. In 2006, I joined the staff of Middletown Primary School as a full-day Special Education Pre-Kindergarten teacher.
