Welcome to Ms. Jordan’s Class Website!
I have been teaching four years. All of my teaching experience has been at Monocacy Elementary School. I have had experience teaching Fifth grade, Second grade, and am currently teaching Third grade. I also completed all of my undergraduate internships at Monocacy Elementary School. This has allowed me to build a strong rapport with the students and staff within our school. I graduated from Hood College with a dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education. I returned to Hood College and obtained my Reading Specialist Master’s degree. I currently have three remaining classes at Hood College in order to complete my second Master’s in the area of Curriculum and Instruction. My future plans, in the area of personal education, is to obtain my Doctorate of Education.
I love teaching because I am able to see not only my students grow but myself. I have learned alot from the students I have met and they have allowed me to grow not only as an educator but as a person. Each experience is meaningful so I take the time that is needed to get to know my students. I want them to love education as much as I do.
