I am very excited to start my administrative career at Monocacy Elementary.  I earned a BS in Secondary Education (1995) and a Masters Degree in Special Education (2000)  from West Virginia University.  I earned a Certificate in Educational Leadership from Hood College (2010).

I started my teaching career as a special education teacher working with students in non-public residential placements as well as in specialized progrms in Colorado Springs Colorado and in Charles and Montgomery Counties in Maryland at the middle and high school levels.

I spent 10 years supporting students at Spring RIdge Elementary in a variety of positions:  student support, classroom teacher and math intervention.

I then served as the Student Support Teacher at Valley Elementary in Jefferson for 3 years.

I live in New Market with my husband of 22 years.  We have 2 amazing daughters who are currently pursuring degrees in college in Kent Ohio and Boone North Carolina.  I enjoy spending time outside at the beach or hiking in the mountains.  Our family is a big supporter of WVU athletics so we enjoy attending as many football and basketball games as we can!

It is my privlage and honor to serve the MOES Gator community and I look forward to working with each one of you.
