Introduction to Agricultural Science and Technology GRADES 9 - 12
Course Description: This one-semester course examines plant and animal sciences using agricultural applications. Laboratory work is emphasized and includes experiences with plants and animals. Animal studies include animal anatomy and physiology, genetics, reproduction and health care. Plant studies include ecology, microbiology, soil science, plant anatomy/physiology and plant diseases. Agriculture/Science careers are explored. This course satisfies one of four required credits for the Agriculture or Horticulture Completer programs AND the financial literacy graduation requirement.
