Hello!  My name is Susan Staley.  This is my 25th year teaching in Frederick County, 21 of which have been at Kemptown.  I have taught second grade, first grade, and third grade.  I graduated from Hood College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Music.

I live in Mt. Airy with my husband and daughter, Melissa.  She recently graduated from Eastern University in Pennsylvania, with a degree in Environmental Science.

I love spending time with my family, reading, kayaking, traveling, and playing with my cats Sandi and Leo
