My name is Stephanie Miller. This is my thirteenth year teaching first grade and I LOVE it! I have been at KES for 9 years as a full-time teacher, 2 years as a full- and part-time substitute, and 2 years as a parent. Kemptown is a wonderful place to be. I earned my undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Towson State University, and my Master's Degree in Reading from Western Maryland College. I began my teaching career at a small private school and then moved to HCPS, where I taught first grade for 4 years. I left HCPS when my first child was born and was able to stay home with him and then his sister for several years before coming to Kemptown. My children are entering 9th grade and 12th grade this year. The time goes so fast - it seems like my oldest was just in 1st grade!
