Hello Kemptown- My name is Rachel Rhinehart and this is my ninth year of teaching.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Reading Specialist Master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. I began my career teaching 2nd grade in Fairfax County before moving to Frederick County in 2013. I taught special education at Kemptown before staying home full time with my kids for a couple of years. I am lucky to be back in the classroom at Kemptown job sharing with Mrs. Dobkin!
My husband, Nick, and I have two kids, Jack and Lena. We also have two energetic border collies, Colby and Brie. Our family recently moved from Walkersville to Mount Airy and in our free time we love to hike, camp, and spend time outdoors together.
I’m looking forward to learning and growing together this year!
