Week of April 8th, 2013

Welcome back from spring break and to our first full week of term 4!  There are only 30 school days until the May High School Assessments, so be sure you are working hard in your HSA courses and staying for after school tutoring as often as possible.  Even though the weather may be warm and sunny, it will pay off to stay at FHS for tutoring so that you are well prepared for the May HSAs.  The more time you invest, the better your chances for success!

Week of March 11th, 2013

With the administration of the Government HSA being reinstaed in 2012-2013, students can use government as part of a combined score, so it is important for students to take the Government HSA seriously and earn as high a score as possible.
The following rules apply:
- Students entering 9th grade in the 2012-13 school year or in a prior school year have two options to meet the combined score option:

* Students MAY achieve a combined score of 1602 for English, Algebra/Data Analysis, Biology, and Government.
