FCPS Asteroid Hunters
CONGRATULATIONS to the FCPS Asteroid Hunters! Fourteen students from 8 high schools participated in a search campaign through the International Asteroid Search Collaboration. Students learned software that allowed them to analyze data images from the Pan-Starrs telescope in Hawaii. The students discovered over 20 asteroids that are now catalogued with the Minor Planet Center at Harvard University.
