Language development and the time between birth and age 3 is crucial to develop language. The Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation in conjunction with six leadership organizations have created a site to promote language nutrition in an effort to close the word gap. www.talkwithmebaby.org is a site filled with videos and resources to support families on how to talk to your baby. The Resource tab is filled with developmental milestones and toolkits for parents and a must see soon to be released free app to get weekly lessons, track baby’s milestones and get talking tips on how to provide the necessary language nutrition that babies need.
