I have taught Engineering and Woodworking at WHS for 13 years prior to coming to CTC this year.  I started as an apprentice in my Grandfather's Cabinetshop in 1980 and continued until I joined the Army in 1986.  After the military, I worked in the construction industry and eventually started my own contracting/cabinetshop in 1990.  I have worked in Japan building projects for Shelter Systems. Upon returning to the states I concentrated solely on cabinetmaking and custom woodwork in high-end custom homes.  I started teaching in 2003 to spend more time with my family.  I continue to run my cabinetshop on commission only basis as time allows.

I have been married for 27 years and have four chidren aged from 24 to 14.  My wife has been a teacher in the county for 27 years.  All of my children have attended county schools.  I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passing on the traditions my Grandfather taught me.
