Instructor Biography/Qualifications

Jacki Pieterse RN, BSN    Academy of Health Professions Instructor

Jacqueline Pieterse, RN, MSN,  joined the staff of CTC in 2002, Ms. Pieterse has 17 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing, trauma and cardiac care, home health and geriatric nursing. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree was obtained from York College of Pennsylvania and she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Towson University. Ms. Pieterse currently holds an Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education. She is a SkillsUSA advisor and a member of CTC's wellness committee. 
 
 
 Karin Kidd
Karin Kidd, RN, joined the CTC family in 2015 bringing 25 years of nursing experience as a director of nursing, delegating nurse, case manager, emergency deartment, adolescent addictions, long term care, assisted living, post-partum, infertility and medical aesthetics nurse.  She oversees the internship committee in the CNA/GNA program for second year students.  Mrs. Kidd is a SkillsUSA advisor and a member of the fundraising committee for SkillsUSA competitions.
 
Jenny Maher, AoHP Instructor
Jenny Maher, RN, joined the staff of CTC in 2007.  Ms. Maher has been in the health care industry since the age of 15 by earning her CNA/GNA from the exact program she teaches today. She continued her education and graduated  from the FCC nursing program in 2001.  She worked as a dialysis nurse prior to accepting a teaching position at CTC.  Mrs. Maher currently holds an Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education. She is a SkillsUSA Maryland Board of Director  and active local advisor of SkillsUSA. She is the coordinator for the CNA/GNA program and CPR/First Aid. 
 
 
Deb Yoho, RN, joined CTC in 2017.  Ms. Yoho returned to school after raising a family to earn a nursing degree at FCC in 1992.  She brings experience from many different areas of healthcare including school health, office nursing, dialysis, long-term care, infection control and nursing education. Ms. Yoho enjoys working with young students to instill the desire to learn and grow in their chosen field and she is currently working toward earning a Teaching Certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education. She is a SkillsUSA advisor and a member of CTC's wellness committee.
