I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from York College of Pennsylvania in 1983 and I have had many varied experiences in the field of health care. My career started as a Medical/Surgical nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital and eventually navigated into the area of Intensive Care/Trauma throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Prior to joining the Career & Technology Center as a Fundamentals of Nursing instructor in the Fall of 2002, I was employed as a wellness nurse for employees of a large bank, covering Maryland, West Virginia and Washington D.C. areas. I hold an Advanced Teaching Certificate through the State of Maryland and I have earned a Master's Degree in Nursing Education from Towson University. Currently, I am a classroom instructor in the Academy of Health Professions at CTC and continue as a clinical instructor in the Nursing Assisting program.
