Applying to CTC

 

Applying to CTC is a competitive application process that involves both your high school and CTC. It is a fair process that includes reviewing your application, grades, attendance and shadow evaluation form.  Some programs have pre-requisites and additional acceptance criteria.  Specific course information is outlined in the individual program descriptions and in the FCPS course guide.  

The shadowing & application process begins in November each year and runs through the end of February.  Applications are accepted at any time during that time period.  If you are accepted into a CTC program you will receive comfirmation directly from the Career & Technology Center.
