Principal's Message

Dear Centerville Star Families,

Welcome back to another star studded shining year at Centerville Elementary. During the 2016-2017 school year we were recognized for many notable honors that make Centerville a great place to attend. The honors include, CES becoming a Maryland Blue Ribbon School, Karima Sharper being named 2017 Frederick County Teacher of the Year and Kelli Smith was chosen as the 2017 Frederick County Washington Post Teacher of the Year. How can we not be proud of the collaborative learning environment we have at CES? We, the CES staff will not rest on our past successes as we have much more to accomplish. Your scholar will continue to be provided a rigorous learning environment to meet the demands of the 21st century learner.
On behalf of all the staff members of Centerville Elementary School, we would like to welcome you back to our school. If you are new to Centerville, welcome to the “Star Family”. With your continued collaboration, support, and enthusiasm  we will continue to be the excellent learning environment for all scholars that enter through our doors each day.

With Star Pride,
Tracy D. Hilliard
