I grew up in Blacksburg, VA.  I received my Bachelor's degree from University of Georgia and my Master's from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I am married and have three children. 
I started in Frederick County at Walkersville Middle School in 1997.  This is my 4th year at BCMS.  I love the diversity here at Ballenger.  It is so exciting getting to know people from so many different cultures, from all around the world.
