Dear Parents and Guardians,

     I want to take the time to introduce myself.  My name is Elissa Grimm. I am the  6th grade  special education  casemanager at Ballenger Creek Middle.  I live in Damascus. I love to garden, go to the beach and  shop. Kids know me for the wild shoes and matching clothes I wear.  I moved to Maryland thirty-three years ago to go to Western Maryland now known as McDaniel College for my masters in deaf education. I am from New York. I have been teaching in Frederick for thirty-three years.  I taught the deaf for fourteen years and for the last twenty-one years taught at Ballenger Creek Middle.  

      I will be delivering special education services through  direct services and providing resource.    I will be working closely with your child and his/her teacher, to ensure their IEP objectives and goals are being implemented.
