Hello! I’m so excited to be joining the Ballenger Creek Bobcat family! 

This is my 10th year of teaching. I began my career in Virginia where I taught 3rd grade. I moved to Maryland two years later and began teaching for Hillcrest Elementary School. I’ve been there for the last 8 years. I’ve taught both 4th and 5th grades there. 

I grew up on a small farm in rural West Michigan. I attended Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan for my Bachelors of Science degree. I also have earned my Masters of Science degree at Hood College in Frederick, MD. and received my certification in Special Education. 

I reside in Martinsburg, West Virginia with my husband and our son.
