           Walkersville Middle School

-Our Mission-

The WMS Community provides every student with a challenging education
based on individual learning styles, interests and culture within
a safe and supportive learning environment.

We act in the belief that through our own collaboration, creativity,
problem-solving and a commitment to life-long learning,
we will foster those same beliefs in every student.

At WMS every student can learn, master and apply
a challenging curriculum given the proper support!

MDS3 Project Grant:   MarylandSafe and Supportive Schools (MDS3) Initiative.

  •        Walkersville Middle School is participating with John Hopkins University and the MDS3 3 year Grant.  We are one of 40 middle schools selected to participate with this program to promote a safe learning environment and positive school culture.  The goal of the MDS3 Initiative is to develop a sustainable system to measure school climate in middle schools.  This information will be used to guide us in promoting a healthy environment for students to learn.

  •          Data collection is an important monitoring tool we analyze.  We are seeking feedback from our parents and guardians.   I have included the link below to the parent survey.  The survey is confidential and anonymous and we need your feedback.     The survey will be available from March 1st to May 15th.  We value your feedback!
