Welcome to my web page!
I am very happy to be a part of the dynamic staff at North Frederick. This is my 31st year working for Frederick County Schools, and my fourth year as a part of the North Frederick Staff. Prior to coming to North Frederick, I was on the staff of Emmitsburg Elementary, Walkersville Elementary, New Midway Elementary and Yellow Springs Elementary. I have taught every elementary grade, kindergarten through 5th!
In my job as an intervention teacher, I work with children from all grade levels in both reading and math. I am very active in our local school community. You will often see me at school in the evenings participating in parent/family events.
I live in the Cloverhill section of Frederick with my husband, Curt, and our dogs and cats. Our daughters, Karen and Allison, are both graduates of TJ High School. Karen graduated from Dickinson College and is working as a U.S. Patent Examiner and living in Washington, DC. Allison is a junior biochemistry major at Dickinson College.
