Math Specialist

Welcome back to a wonderful new year at Middletown Middle School. I am the Mathematics Specialist here. I assist with professional development for the math department, pull small groups, level students in the correct classes, analyzing data and much more. I am happy to be a part of the Knight's family.

I am starting my eleventh year of teaching in Frederick County Public Schools. Before coming to Middletown Middle School in July 2010 for the position of Mathematics Specialist, I worked at Brunswick Middle School. I have taught Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Algebra, 7th grade math and 6th Grade Technology Exposition. In May 2006 I received my Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education Mathematics 5-Adult from Shepherd University. In Aug 2009 I received my Masters of Science in Education from Walden University. In December 2010 I received from Towson University an Admin I Certificate and recently passed the Admin 2 Praxis exam. Besides being the Mathematics Specialist at Middletown, I am an adjunct faculty member at Frederick Community College where I teach a variety of different courses throughout the year.
