Welcome to Middletown Elementary School

Is It Important to Care for Our Earth, Environment, and Animals?

Students will consider this essential question during our special author assembly at Middletown Elementary School on May 10 at 1 p.m.

Award-winning author Jennifer Keats Curtis is dedicated to taking
care of our environment and animals. Called Maryland’s Green
because her books reflect her passion for protecting our
earth and animals, Mrs. Curtis will share her experiences and
stories, along with her research and writing process, during
our author visit on May 10.

To prepare for her visit, we will be exploring some of the situations
and animals Ms. Curtis features in her books. If you want to
learn more about Mrs. Curtis, please visit her website: .
