Principal's Farewell Letter

April 30, 2010

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is with heartfelt words that I write this letter to inform you that as of June 30, 2010. I will be leaving the position of principal of Governor Thomas Johnson Middle School and beginning in a new position as principal at Oakdale Middle School. Although I will miss my work with our school family, I look forward to the challenges this new position has to offer.

It has been a pleasure to serve as the principal at this school since July 1, 2000. I hope you know how much I have enjoyed these last ten years. It has been my good fortune to experience a wonderful partnership with the students, staff and families in our community. Neal Case, currently the principal at Oakdale Middle School, will become the principal at Governor Thomas Johnson Middle School, effective July 1, 2010. He is looking forward to working with all of you and getting to know each of you.

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve you, your children and this outstanding school community and hope you know I am especially proud of our students. I look forward to hearing great things about their accomplishments as they continue their education at Governor Thomas Johnson Middle and beyond.

Sincerely,

Michelle A. Concepcion
