kathy.cousin@fcps.org My name is Kathy Cousin, your child’s first grade teacher. I was born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shortly after I moved to Maryland I began my teaching career in Montgomery County where I taught pre-k and third grade. After moving to Frederick County I taught first, second and third grade. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I've been a member of the BCES family for five years. I am currently working toward a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Administration from McDaniel College and looking forward to graduating in May of 2013. My husband and I are the proud parents of two grown adults. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching Steeler's football, and spending time with my family and friends. I have an amazing class this year and look forward to working with you and your son or daughter. First grade is a time of wonder and a time of growth. Together we will have a very successful year........
